Streamlining Your Booking Experience: Pet Patootie Frequently Asked Questions
How do you handle key pickup/drop off?
For client's keyed entry, some utilize a secure lockbox outside their home and will provide me with the code to access the contained key. This is the best option, as the key stays at the location. I offer a key pickup/drop-off for clients who do not utilize a secure lockbox. I will keep the key for the duration of the visit (and return it when the visit ends).
Which Cities do you provide service to?
We provide services in the vicinity of Fairview Park, Westlake and North Olmsted, covering a radius of 5 miles. However, if you require services outside this area, exceptions can be made for an additional $2.00 per mile based on your desired location.
Do you do a Meet and Greet?
Yes! Once we decide that service is needed, we will schedule a Free 30-minute meet & greet at your home to get all of your questions answered, provide you with information about the service, and learn more about your pets.
Are you open on Holidays?
Yes, for services rendered on designated holidays, an additional charge of $12 will apply for 30-minute services, or $25 for each overnight stay. Any service totaling $50 and above will automatically include the holiday fee of $25.
The specified holidays encompass New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Holiday eve before July 4th,Fourth of July, Juneteenth, Veterans Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving eve, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
This extra charge is applicable to bookings scheduled on the actual holiday date, regardless of whether it's a staycation or a 12-hour visit, as services are still provided on holidays.
Weather Policy for Dog Walking Clients.
If you plan to stay home or your workplace is closed and need to cancel walks, please reach out to us at petpatootie@gmail.com or text/call 317-690-8061 by 8 a.m. Please note that if our walker cannot safely access your area due to poor road conditions, we will not be able to provide service. In case of delays caused by road issues, any additional time will be considered part the walking session, and we will notify you via email within 12 hours This ensures that all clients receive at least a 10-15 minute potty break during inclement, particularly if temperatures drop below 30 degrees or if sidewalks are icy.
Am I allowed to book a service within 24 hours or less?
Appointments made with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to a convenience fee of $5-10 per service for walking or pet-sitting. For staycations, bookings should be made at least one week in advance to avoid a $10 charge. A fee of $5 will apply for each dog during -minute walks or sitting sessions.
